We Believe That God Is BIGGER And BETTER Than You’ve Ever Imagined

There is nothing in this world that is more powerful than the good news that Jesus brings.  We believe that the first man and woman sinned against God, and the first man and woman sold the entire human race into slavery to Sin.  There was no way we could rescue ourselves, or save us from the slavery of sin.  For as long as the human race has existed, we continue to do the things we don’t want to do, and don’t do the things we know we should do.  For this reason, God the Father sent Jesus Christ to Earth.  Jesus Christ lived fully God yet fully man.  He performed many incredible signs, healing the sick, raising the dead, loving the unlovable, and flipping world views on their head.  He died the most excruciatingly painful death the world could offer, and was the atoning sacrifice and ransom for our sins – however, that is not the end of the story.  He resurrected from the dead, conquering death, sin and all of their effects.  He ascended to the Father forty days after his resurrection, and gave the church his Holy Spirit so that they could do the works that Jesus did (heal the sick, raise the dead, love the unlovable, and challenge the way the world thinks).

And Jesus still changes and transforms lives through his good news.  He still empowers his church to do what he did through the baptism of his Holy Spirit.

We believe that our God is ALIVE.  And since God is ALIVE, church shouldn’t be DEAD.
